I played 7 for a few years as well and I get it, but I also see that it could make the game way too defensive. I can also argue that some people played 7 only with fast ch tools, which allowed them to neglect match up knowledge, since you could turtle and just rely on a few safe ch launchers and do your combo.

At least Steve is more unique now, cause he's the only one with a 12(?) frame ch and Shaheen with his 13 frame m4, which was also 11 in 7 and obviously better.

I don't know much about Lee in 8 yet. How fast is his m4 and does it grant you full combo launcher?

Yes but all of the m4 in 8 are 13 frames instead of 11, aren't they? Makes them a lot less viable.

11 frames, 4,3,4 is hit confirmable and bounds, and 4,4:4 also allows for a smaller launch, but the pickup is difficult

Don't bother pickup Lee if your tiersexual Kazama family player or Drag/Steve/King (Gimmick reliant) he's too much 4 u too handle

It would certainly make the game more exciting with all the new aggression, it would make it faster paced for someone who is put in a decade long block string or having a Drag mashing on them without dis-enabling the scrubby 'aggressive' gameplay
