Weakest character?

There is quite a bit talk about who is broken and op, but I was wondering, who you all think is the weakest character in the game.

I hear opinions that asuka and zafina can compete but they are easy to pick up

Panda is pretty decent. I played one lastnight and lost.

I would say Asuka is one among the weakest but not because she necessarily weak.. its just that other character has such a fast poke and intense pressure when played right to the point that other than defending there is not much that you can do... she got tons of nerf and little to no buff compared to her T7 version... and in this game offence is king most of the time... shes weak because the game design doesn't really benefit her compared to other character..

she has all the tools for you to play well and she can be super strong in the right hand.. but you need to work super hard just to get opening sometimes in comparison to anyone else...

I say Yoshimitsu. Once you get over his trolling he's kinda out of tricks. Nina also feels a bit anemic in this.

They're both viable of course. I just don't see much value compared to the rest of the roster.

Yeah don't know about Nina was getting my butt kicked by a Nina player, kept grabbing me and tossing me with an unblockable attack, was getting pretty peeved, they already had 10 wins in a row... probably using those same cheap tactics..

Personally I think Yoshi is quite low on the scale.
While he does deal good damage he is kinda slow and often predictable, with the less predictable moves being either much harder to pull of or more gink than actual attack. Also he lacks decent low move to throw the enemy up for longer juggles

Yoshi is ment to be played with his never ending mind games and set ups he alredy got buffed compared to tekken 7

Everyone was pretty much buffed from T7 except Kazuya. Bears are just knowledge checks for mids and lows. People say the bears are the worst with Panda just being a worse Kuma.

Yup most got buffed besides kaz zafina and asuka maybe idk the others

Honestly i can only think of 2 that are legitimately weak. Zafina i don't even see this character anywhere and her move set is odd but that could be her strength. However panda is extremely subpar to kuma due to hit box changes that happened. Leroy has fallen off hard from 7 due to breaking the balance of the game to lean in on hyper aggressive fights and esports streaming to make it more "exciting". They took some of the effects off his moves and added more frames on others while nerfing parry across the board and his counter skills basically everything that made leroy's kit unique and interesting is now worthless. Every other fighter in the game is able to be aggressive better then him. Yes can you win with these two? Absolutely. Can be still be good with training? Of course. However will you be at a base disadvantage? 100%.

Honestly i don't mind aggressive fighting but that is all the fgc is becoming anymore since it's this non stop push to esport everything and make it faster so people will be excited. Honestly i like controlling the flow of the fight hence why i liked leroy. Let me counter you 2 or 3 times and you will think. Now it's try the counter and eat a 10 hit combo due to the parry nerfs and added frames.
