Any mechanical keyboard will do, so long as you're not taking your anger out on it.

Started on XBone pad in Tekken 7 (because that's how you play fighting games, right?), but had to switch to keyboard when the stupid thing broke (thank heavens). Instantly started improving at an incredible rate, and I was finally 100% certain everyone who was saying keyboard is terrible for fighting games is a filthy liar, which I already suspected after trying Guilty Gear on pad for the first time.

Okay, maybe membrane keyboards aren't exactly good, but nobody ever said "membrane keyboards are terrible for fighting games"

You can literally use any keyboard that can press more than 6 buttons at once.

Idk how you managed to break keycaps tho thats hard thing to achieve.

I used a very old membrane keyboard first, now i am using xpg summoner. There literally is no difference.

Obviously if you or anyone is gonna use membrane get a decent gaming one with 6 or 10 key ghosting.

However, if i had infinity money i would just get a hitbox style leverless controller.

I press the buttons as hard as i could like i play on an arcade controller. Only the key caps broke but the switches are fine hehe.

if you get a hotswap keyboard you can just replace the keys when they break LUL
or just get a haute42 leverless, it's like playing on keyboard but more comfortable,

Just make sure that you can slide your fingers any direction over keys before buying. Don't be like me.

And test the buttons you need can work at the same time

i'm using a cheap membrane keyboard that you'll only find in 3rd world countries
at least it has no ghosting issues so i'm okay with it

aren't those cheap membrane keyboards prone to key ghosting? I remember playing those kind of keyboards while playing KOF 98 in emulator using keyboard and got problems with ghosting.

maybe the ones used in offices that are really cheap with the flat keys, but the normal cheap ones have anti-ghosting in the numpad and the area around wasd so if you're using these keys it won't be a problem

Ye no, cheap keyboards has 20ms+ input lag, and, worse, something called chord splitting, meaning the keyboard will only send a limited number of keys per time, meaning if you press 6 buttons at once, they will register, but they will only arrive at the PC in a sequential order and you will not get any combo off because they game will think you pressed them one after another.

Membrane keyboards are just as good as mechanical keyboards. Membrane keyboards have a lower quality floor, but a cheap keyboard, membrane or mechanical(see above), will still be crap.
