Why doesnt anyone play Raven, but so many people play Victor?

Imo his design is pretty cool, the shadow clone bs is quite spammy, so it should be a hit with noobs.

i like that he looks like Blade, my fave marvel character. his play style just dosnt appeal to me tho. to much wierd flippy stuff

Like others have said: Victor has "buggy" throws, is easier to play and Raven requires more effort on average.

Master Raven has more teleports and has also a Sword, giving her additional range (?).
If I knew she is going to get released soon'ish, I would start playing Raven, but also ditch him the moment she gets released.

Picked him 2 days ago as my 2nd and im having so much fun.

He is def tricky but I learn pretty fast and im having some success with him.

De.f fits my overall playstyle like whiff punishment and he is so good for that. Also way easier to get out of pressure than playing with kazuya plus all the gimmicks

because raven sucks. his jabs are the slowest in the game. His combos do no damage. He can't punish anyone because his moves are so slow. that's all.
