Hwoarang is the weakest character in the franchise

Even through they made him more easy to use in Tekken 8 he is still the weakest and hardest character to play. The vast majority of his strength and moves are highs and lows and everyone with basic knowledge can easily dodge his attacks by just crouching. He has like 200 attacks and 3 or 4 stances and hard to utilize his moves cause he is laughably easy to counter. Pretty much every character is better than him. He is only useful for Tekken Ball.

This is not bait. Once you reach green ranks with Hwoarang it becomes a struggle. I picked up Nina a few months ago and did 10 times better with her than I ever did with Hwoarang. In Tekken 7 I had a much better win-lose ratio with everyone else online, and the same is so far with Tekken 8. I'm dropping this character completely.

Funny because K Wiss had no issue getting him to Tekken god supreme

Maybe if you spent more time learning the character instead of complaining about the character

That's the point. You have to put much more hours into Hwoarang than most character. I still stand by that he is the weakest if you compare him to everyone else.

This is clearly bait.

But Here we go....

HWO is one of the easiest characters to farm inexperienced and untrained players in Tekken 8. He has tons of stuff that is plus and many quick moves that allow you to keep your turn on block or on hit.

All these posts do is put out a giant sign over your own head that says "I don't practice and learn". HWO can EASILY get to Red ranks by just using B3, d3,4, a few strings and rolling your face over the keyboard.


HWO is one of the heaviest lab-required characters in the game- meaning that the person Defending against him has to lab more than you do in many cases. It's Week #2 and many new players have not even scratched the surface of what HWO is capable of.

I'm Vanquisher with Nina with only 55 matches played. I never said that I'm a top player. I'm just saying that Hwoarang is overall a bad character with a lot of weaknesses.

Don’t forget Hwo is one of the best lag abuse characters in the game. Those pressure strings are hard to deal with in a crap connection

I’m purple rank with Xiaoyu and have a red ranked Jun and Lili with only 42 hours, not played ranked since the weekend either
