Disable opponent customization

Can you disable the customization for your opponents? I have absolutely nothing about changing the clothes of your character or putting sunglasses on, but I keep running into players with all kinds of effects, hitsparks, a giant traffic cone on their head, a big gun on their back etc.

Is there a way to make the game show one of the default skin for your opponents?

Was it a thing in Tekken 7? I remember such insane customizations on Twitch, to the point I had no idea who the actual character on screen was.

I have seen some "militairy style" outtfits, but how do you make that into Nazi ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥?

BTW you can report those players after a match via the "Profile" option, if it's as bad as you say.

Well, it's just not caring enough. Though personally I would add more customization to allow it to go MUUUUUCHHH further, but also the ability to turn it off completely. Your choice of dealing with humanity or not.

Not sure if political climate has a lot to do with it. Might just be a dumb teenager thinking this is cool or edgy.

Also, if Namco had to take into account all the BS people on the internet would pull, it would result in a ton of work for them or a complete lack of customization.

The onus shouldn't be on Namco here, it should be on the person doing the customization being a douchebag. I'd rather have them reported and dealt with, then have a completely sanitized game. The Reina military outfit on it's own is cool, it makes me think a little of Star Wars.

People like you are exactly why we can't have nice things. A bad man does something and now no one can ever use his likeness again? It's a fighting game. If you don't like the bad man, then beat him up and stomp on his body like everyone else. Don't throw a fit on the forums because someone got the exact reaction they were aiming for out of you.

There are no fits thrown here so far.
Also stating "bad man does something" is rather trivializing the creating of a Hitler likeness.

People don;t agree on whether or not Namco should have prevented this. The post was started because I would like to be able to turn customization off because of the distraction and ridiculous model. Hitler cosplay through customization came later in the thread, but was not the goal.
