Need help, stuck in arcade quest location

I were doing arcade quest and decided to go back to a previous location to get some treasure fights I didn't do before. However I am unable to leave the location again. max is not there and no button I press lets me get out to select another location. I'm pretty sure I've talked with every npc there as well and no thing. There isn't any prompts to leave at doors or elevators either. Have anyone had a similar problem and knows how to fix it? Thank you in advance

Edit: The options that shows up when I open the menu is: Quick select, Sound Options, Controller setup and main menu. If I go to main menu and rejoin arcade quest I am put directly back into the same location.

Funny you've mentioned him because I was lost myself and didn't know how to leave the place.
I was doing the same thing as OP and was checking the options menu. :)
