UE-Polaris/Low Fatal Error is not fixed
My game already crashed 2 times in 30 minutes. The latest patch (1.01.04) didn't fix anything. Win 11, Ryzen 9 5950x, 1080Ti 32Gb RAM.

UPDATE: After reinstalling Windows 11 with all the drivers (GPU and Chipset), I no longer have this issue. Maybe its due to the newer Win 11 version. But i am not completely sure.

Wack.
I didn't have that problem until the patch, and now I do :'( I assumed my opponent had plugged until I saw the dreaded crash message and realised even ctrl+alt+del wasn't working.

I too am still getting this crash freeze even after the patch. I could be online, doing story modes, or even paused in practice mode and it can happen at any time.
A lot of the time this crash happens, I don't even get the ue-polaris error message and I have to force restart my pc as it's just completely bricked at that point.
Here's hoping an actual fix is on the way sooner rather than later. It's killing my enthusiasm for the game...

Yeah, I don't know what they were doing, but the polaris crash occurs more often for me after the update...

True! Before this patch it was less frequently for me too

I've never crashed. I don't think a patch is going to solve your problem dude.

Pc specs? what gpu do you use

I have tried most of the generic fixes, even underclocking the GPU (1080 Ti) with no succcess.

Strangely I am now 1 day of playing without polaris crash although I played the hell out of Yakushima. What I changed before this lucky streak just out of desperation:

- Updated my MSI afterburner (had a really old version)
- In afterburner: reduced maximum power limit from 117% to 95%
- (Temperature limit was then automatically decreased to 83°C, although my gpu does not exceed 70°C normally - just for the record)
- Eventually did the regedit fuzz by creating TdrLevel = 0

Played the game, no crash since and it is by far the longest period for me without crash. If this is really an effect of what I did, I suspect that only one action (reducing power limit or regedit) are necessary - but I will keep it as is for the moment. But again: I do not believe this fixed it, I will edit my post as soon as it crashes again. But it is a glimpse of hope.

Good luck!

bros, it has nothing to do with your PC specs, for me it works perfectly stable online, training and story mode, but i've got instant crash when trying to go into arcade quest/lounge or how df this joke mode called. It is clearly a problem with the game itself, not your PC.

Nice if it runs fine in most modes for you. It does not for me and others. Yes, our systems run fine but somehow certain hardware configurations (hello 1080s) are somewhat less compatible with Tekken 8 atm. I would not get my hopes up that they fix this anytime soon. Many people are affect but not THAT many. Doubt that this has priority. Would love to be proven wrong.

The question at the moment is if you can contribute on your side to get rid of the crash. It is totally fine if one does not want to play around with settings and wait for a patch... or refund... or whatever.

I never crashed until yesterday and now it happens constantly. Just because it doesn't happen to you doesn't mean that it isn't an issue. It probably will happen soon to you and with your attitude I hope it does if I am being honest.

To me this crash seems 100% on the Bamco side of things. It only happens right as an online match is starting.

I did, they told me they escalated my ticket up to the dev team after I explained that their support page didn't help me at all. Hopefully that means they're aware of the problem if even support is like "idk man just wait for a patch I guess".

Win 11, Ryzen 9 5950x, 1080Ti 32Gb RAM, but i dont think that it matters that much because some people with better specs than mine and 3000/4000 RTX also have this problem. I don't have any problems with running the game smoothly on High settings but i use Low just in case.

I don't have any troubles with running modern games in 1440p on High. Why should i upgrade my specs is it doesn't guarantee that it will run smoothly after the upgrade? There are some people that have better PCs than mine and they also have this problem
