I would rather they balance early and often rather than balance once a year. While I understand SF6 is doing things the way they are for tourney players to have a consistent balance for the tourneys it would be nice to see more patches.

I'm not sure. There are "other bug fixes" listed in the patch notes, so they could have just fixed it and not explicitly mentioned it in the patch notes, or they just didn't fix it.

The balance in SF6 is decent tbh. I main ryu and play Luke and even though Ryu is lower tier I can beat Lukes pretty easy in my rank in plat. At the highest levels yeah they need a balance pass maybe because top tier Lukes are very strong and Ken is pretty obnoxious but at most Ranks including plat you can win with anyone. Ryu is rather bottom tier but I win with him at a similar rate to Luke both in Plat. My two fighting games are SF and Tekken not sure why anyone would have so much hate for a classic series but you do you.

Literally just got home and read that comment, too. As a Shaheen player, he does not need a buff. I 100% agree he's VERY good where he's at. Being off the radar is where I want my good characters.

Shaheen was already viable in T7, now he's not just viable but damn decent.
