CANNOT GET 60 FPS
Hi guys. My setup i9 14900k 64gb ram 4070. I cannot maintain a steady 60fps I have tried everything on the in game settings.. 1440p 1080, low and high detail. Reinstalled gpu driver , rolled back gpu driver, lowered monitor to 60hz… among a few others..I monitored system while these frame drops happened gpu usage didn’t pass 60% cpu was lower… I usually can find my own way through research but I’ve come up dry…any help would be greatly appreciated

Try running Tekken as well as Steam as ADMIN?

Plug your video cable into the GPU instead of your motherboard.

you're not using your GPU, maybe the integrated one

i found disabling E-cores in my bios and limiting the game to 60fps in the Nvidia control panel fixed my performance issues.

Ok so weirdly this issue doesnt happen with any other game...but when i went to alt tab to look at hardware info, the game all of a sudden looked really good in the background while I looked at HWmonitior once I clicked back to fullscreen, it slowed down again....

Can’t check now but is there fullscreen mode and borderless fullscreen? Or just one of them?
If the game works fine in wondow mode then at least we know it’s likely not hardware related.

Try FSR 2.0 Balanced in the Graphics option

So run the game for testing only in windowed mode and see what happens? IDK.
See if that improves anything, or see if it improves nothing.

seems like the fix may be simple if the 'game all of a sudden looked really good in the background'

Turn off all xbox (or windows game mode) stuff. Try to keep everything simple when testing. Good luck.

Also it's true that monitor smarts (monitors with free sync and g sync might be messing with tekken 8, so make sure that stuff is off to get a baseline) But only do that if you are confident, before you turn off free sync or g-sync as it could mess up your other games.

make sure you have the latest Nvidia or AMD drivers etc etc.

try this. Open the game and wait in the main menu for like 10-15 minutes. Its for shaders optimization.(i can see when it finish by cpu load, when they optimizing its 70-90 cpu load, when they finish its 20-40% load). Then play.Do it every time you enter the game.

I have the same problem, except I have an i5 2400 and a GTX 1060

OKAY guys this is weird... it only hits 58-60 fps with hwmonitor running in foreground... or another window of some sort open in front of the game......WTF is this

Didnt work for me, game actually ran worse and unstable with e cores disabled...Only thing that works for me currently for 57-60 fps is putting in borderless, vsync on, and alttabbing and having any window on bottom of screen....*shrug*

Buff if it works best on borderless and with something on the foreground, my only ideas are to play with the full screen optimization setting (right click game executable-compatibility) and the processor scheduling setting (advanced system settings-performance-advanced)

yeah that whats I was honestly leaning towards(the fullscreen optimization thing) because I just bumped up everything to high settings and its playing better and wayyy more stable.. very strange stuff here
