@2:11 try to compare her face to Asuka and Lili
Japanese people don't look like anime, and neither do the characters in fact.
Tekken girls are made in a semi-realistic 3D style with an emphasis on beauty. Quite a lot different from anime.
Is it really so different from anime tho making unified faces without any flaws well depends what kind of anime we are talking about
That is totally a thing.

You can see that even when she's not in cosplay she has that doll face. A lot Asian cosplayers try to get similar looking face types, sure, some more than others, but it's common.
My point was that they look like the Japanese people portrayed in typical anime.
Alice simply can't look any worse than anyone else, as her face doesn't stand out in any way from any other female face.
And the Chinese woman has nothing to do with China anymore, she now has the appearance of a Japanese woman, just like Asuka. She has completely lost the individuality of her face.
What do you think women do when they use make-up and beauty products? They want that smooth skin, with no imperfections. They want to look "doll-like" because this is what beauty actually is.
A lot of women in my area look like that and I find it beautiful.
You may have a different taste, but the thing about 3D models and realism is, once you go past certain point, adding any more extra realism usually leads to just adding ugliness, and ugliness is definitely something I don't want to see in a female character.
Naturally perception of beauty is different for everyone. It's a taste. You don't really argue about it.
