The more I play this game the more I realize how broken it is, get launched, juggled, heat smashed, wall carried, ez win, you'll find yourself in many situations where you never had a chance to breathe and fight back, it's atrocious.

meanwhile I read it as reaction speed is hard game does not specify when and how to use i-frames game does not fully teach what tekke offers.

thats definitely your problem, no offense. Its even easier to do research on frame data now since you can relive the moment in your previous matches. The game will even recommend you moves for punishes in a situation. Only few scenarios in tekken 8 where you never have a chance to fight back. Even then its only for 1 or 2 strings worth of time. You can watch your replays, study when the opponent is minus frames, and can literally jump back in the replay to try to get your turn back.
Spamming juggles is actually a rookie mistake. a lot of characters launchers in this game are punishable with your own launcher, and if not theyre still minus on block, so whipping out any fast move allows you to take your turn back even if the opponent mashes their fastest move.
Heat moves are plus on block, meaning they can move before you can. Remember to stay patient and hold back, wait for them to do their next string, then start throwing hands. Heat smashes are also plus on block, but you can bait or wait out beginners who love to spam it right after activating heat. More skilled players will use their heat smash in the last moment to maximize the benefits of heat, so then you can expect one coming and play more patiently.
Lastly keep in mind that if the opponent can make you feel this way, you too can overwhelm the opponent. Dont be stuck complaining, instead calm down and see where you did wrong, look at the replay, learn from your mistakes and try again. Fighting games are much more enjoyable this way

It's called Unga, caveman style sounds like a dance move

Tekken 8 is not Tekken 3 and 2, we are moving forward with games, so the technique whether to block or not should depend on the player and not automatically on the game!

Yet the game is sitting at 35k players on pc a week after release. and it will die?

Literally skill issue take. Sidestep, armor moves, just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ low attacks, you have so many tools to counter mashers. If you don't understand, how frame advantage works - that's a skill issue on your end, not the game's issue.

Yeah yeah the typical "get gud" response. Except this isn't my problem, I have a little under 70% win ratio. Just because you're giving criticism doesn't mean you have a skill issue, you have to look at both ends.

There's just too many offensive options, 20% health gone from one button, heat engaging recovers crazy health, rage arts made a return, lots of resetting in neutral. Meanwhile the defensive mechanics are pretty much the same since Tag 1.

You'll see, once pros from tournaments start crying about it everyone will lie and say they thought the same since release.

Pressing 1 defeats 90% of mashers

I think it’s the same as always. Mashing kick buttons was unstoppable against beginners since T2 (Beak), T3 (Eddy, Hworang).
Mashing is not about the buttons you press but about the buttons you don't press

if you have such a high win ratio how are you still complaining? I dont understand this mindset to be honest. Youre having constant wins here and there yet you still complain about mashers? It looks like you got enough defensive options to stay winning to me.
Sure offensive options outnumber defense but what is there to add? The 1+3 universal heat activation move is a defense option if you look at it another way. It power crushes and is plus on block, giving you the turn back. Its similar to how burst works in many games.
You know why people "blindly" accept pros opinions? Because theyre pros and they got the skill to prove it at the highest level of play. They play the game the most and have the most knowledge. I would rather trust a pro than a random dude online, so will you. Its normal to trust a professional
