match making is total ♥♥♥♥. keep getting matched with people that have 300 ping. I know they're cheating scum because it was fine until I rematch then it lags to ♥♥♥♥! ban their hardware!!!!

People need to start having good enough PC's to play online this is getting stupid. If you take 2 minutes+ to load into the game and then it stutters all match you shouldn't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ play online.

well, for me, i dont give a damn about if player is using wifi or lan, there's people with awful lan networking at home, sharing the same switch with other pcs / consoles / devices, and u can have the same awful connection.

hell, there's people who could just use a virtual lan connection and fool everyone into thinking they are using LAN.

sorry, but it's just dumb how u think a icon with some color bars could mean someone have prestine internet, exclusive for tekken.

it's more probable a pc player could be torrenting content, or downloading stuff while playing over a console player.

you talked about reality check, how about the fact that cable user always have better experience playing with other cable user than accepting wifi.

and you feel like your wifi is fine, ok, its really fine on your end. but the fact is you are robbing their win, their fun.
why? bcos technically when your signal drop, your data packet lost
and your router have to resend it again, thats cause the other player receive the data later than it should be, the game's net code try to sync both of you by roll back or delayed it, when that happen, your opponent see your move come out later than it should be, and they have harder time to react to your move
such as blocking your slow move, breaking your throw.

on the other hand, when your opponent send their data to you on constant speed, it look smooth on your end.

No one here is talking about the real lag switch. When you get launched just spam the Windows key / alt tab / whatever and the opponent’s game will start having a massive ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stroke. Apparently namco programmers didn’t think people would be able to change focus during a game so they didn’t handle it properly.

This is why always kept my combos short in tekken 7. The frequency of idiots lag switching in that game even on quick match is astronomical.
Easy to execute 60+ damage was perfect for online play.

I love how people who most likely have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ connection themselves are so quick to blame everyone else. If you already fight with wired-only opponents, 5 bars, and Every game or every other game there is lag. MOST LIKELY its not that everyone is lag switcher, most likely you have a Sh~t connection and like to blame everybody else when you get bodied as a punishment and not rematched.

There's often random out-of-scope issues like electronic interference from something unknown, but that doesn't necessarily mean that wifi players as a whole should just be discarded.
