that's because tekken 7 is much better. game feels more like a fighting game and it's much more fun to play as you're not constantly being juggled and can actually play the game
I can't think of anything worthwhile in this world that doesn't require time and effort.
Tekken 7 was around 4-6k players all the time for the majority of its lifespan.
And with that amount the game was more than playable for its entire lifespan.
Fighting games don't need massive amounts of players to do well. You only need 2 people to have a match after all.
I guess there's many people that think a game a dead unless it has over a million players at all times.
There's people that say dota 2 is dead and there's 500k people online right now.
Can't take these discussions seriously at all and I can't take people that call games dead seriously.
Even games like UNI or Melty who have so few players online that steam doesn't even shows it, aren't dead.
I was still able to easily find matches in those games and if I wanted more there's no shortage of discord communities to have sets.
Fighting games aren't like mobas or battle royale games where you need alot of people to just have a single match.
Guy who doesn't own the game and spends weeks on the forum telling others to stop having fun is talking about coping.
Alright bro, I think you need help.
Also, you can't argue because I am right, which is why you come with petty insults instead of arguments.
People talking about a game being dead with a daily peak of 3k players aren't used to fighting games, keep in mind that the daily peak isn't the same 3k players every day, and matches are 1v1, meaning a thousand players stretches way farther for a fighting game than it does for, say, a battlefield type game with 32v32 or even 64v64.
Make heat/special style/rage arts/joggling etc. toggleable in match making. This way people can pick and chose features they want, and we old school get Tekken 1/2/3 back with modern graphics and animation, new basic moves.
Yeah, no joke. The amount of time it actually takes for quick match is actually concerning - sometimes upwards of 5 minutes.
