We also get angry about it, no one is a flawless player. I've been playing since the arcade days and I still get flustered or things get under my skin and I am in need of a break

Plenty of my old friends stopped playing well before we lost touch IRL

A lot of people go on to never play fighting games again and find something else to enjoy

Once when games were 25 cents I lost every single coin out of a 10 dollar roll to the best player in town without a single win

It was a life changing loss in which I learned indeed they were players I would never overcome more than occasionally after hundreds of loses

I'm not taking anything away from you just telling you a story
