blocking bugged?

im trying to block but i seem to get hit every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time by pressing/holding back or pressing nothing like wtf??

best way to test it is play it back and see if it wont block properly.

It could be a fps issue on their end as well, watch for their side where the 2 green squares are. https://www.reddit.com/r/Tekken/comments/17cfipz/question_about_what_the_bars_on_the_right_side_of/ Red means CPU issues and inconsistent FPS loss.

what they did with blocking in tekken 8 is sick. In Tekken 7, if you wanted to block something, you had to move back or step back and crouch. in tekken 8 this is bugged or made for disabled versions... the character stands still and locks itself when standing. You don't have to click anything. This is pathetic... It's better for them to fix it. Currently this system works like for idiots.

Tekken 3 had neutral guard so did tekken 2

then why you having trouble with it..

Because the technique, which has a lot of experience, used it to attack people who couldn't play it well or you had a chance to predict the move whether the opponent would block the move by moving backwards and crouching or moving backwards. now the opponent just needs to do nothing and has a 100% chance to block the attack for a few seconds during a counterattack. I have a problem with this. in Tekken 7 it worked properly. If you wanted to block an attack, you had to step back or step back and crouch to block the attack from below. now you don't have to do anything because the game works like that. It bothers me and that makes me sad. They ruined the technique of many players. previously you had to predict what the opponent would do, now an ordinary player will learn to spam the attack button and does not react to the opponent's attack because what's the point? if the game itself will block the opponent's attack if he doesn't click anything 😂....

That happens to me too, I'd be holding back when they attack and I get blown up. Without getting hit by lows. Kinda weird

I don't get it either. I came from Virtua Fighter series. This blocking sucks. It doesn't work most of the time. I don't get it. I end up getting mad and quit.
