How to stop getting angry when playing ranked online.
Pretty much applies to any competetive online game, i get very angry when losing etc to the point where i feel i'd probably burst a vein or something. How do you stay calm in such games?

Rent high

Food high

But when someone high then it's a problem

High isn't a problem confusing what calms vs what fiends is a problem ..If Tekken stresses some one so bad they have to get a smoke, then 9-10 they prob shouldn't lol.

Meditate on the act around stress being due to self-doubt and not the opponent or environment.

Build confidence around your ability, then persist when you can repair blame as trial.
turn off the bgms. I found the bgms too lit and give u adrenaline pump

"I care about winning in this game"
"Have you tried not caring about winning in this game"
"wow thanks I'm cured"

Swear this is every comment when this subject comes up.

People who get angry know that the anger is irrational but that doesn't stop them from feeling it. Telling them it's irrational does nothing.

Look up anger management techniques. Don't look up anything gaming specific just regular anger management techniques.
You don't have gaming anger it's just anger.

Breathing exercises, meditation, taking a break. All of that will help.
As soon as you start to feel even a little bit of anger start one of the techniques. Don't wait for the anger to peak.
Once it goes away you can process what lead to the anger and hopefully understand the situation better so it won't make you angry next time.
That is if they don't reflect on themselves and choose to harm themselves.

They need to understand that there is a better situation and worse and this is their choice. Their tilt makes them lose and losing make them tilted. That is vicious cycle that only get worse with time

From the other point people who cares about winning EVERY LITTLE THING are constantly enjoying the game, and start playing better winning more and enjoy playing even more.

Which one do you choose to be?

direct on the first match? dont play ranked!
after a few matches in? take a break. watch a replay of the match that made you angry and try to learn from the tips which are given. at the end of the day, the only person you can be mad about is you to allow things to happen despite you having tools against em. you just need to learn them. being mad is ok but be mad at yourself and try to get better which will make you feel better.

People have to realize, that at lower levels, Tekken is pretty much a party game.
Someone who has not a clue of what he is doing, just as long you don't know his character well, can win. You will only graduate when learn those knowledge and punish properly.

This is really good, I usually go for a smoke and come back and start going again.
Learning to not care about winning is the key to tekken, when you lose, you have to study what you could have done better and punish the moves. every match you lose you are learning and i can say that 100%. Literally your rank in this game does not matter, when i was going through green, yellow and orange ranks they were all carried and had no fundamentals, just spamming.

Smoking just removes stress usually related by lack, its not just walking away.. its not that you are learning to not care, you are medicating to not care more..
Unless you are advising people smoke to play Tekken its really an extra step/habit that's not needed and best not heeded.
I’m not telling people to smoke lmao. I literally said that’s what I do when I take a break anyway. Just step away from the game and do something else and come back is what I was trying to get across to people. Smoking sucks never do it.

Don't take advice on how to control yourself from strangers on the internet. Most people who play competitive games get angry when they get their ass kicked. But most people can still find the enjoyment in it. If you're getting angry to the point where you're no longer enjoying yourself, then it's time to move on to something else. Don't force yourself to like something just because it's popular at the moment. If in an 8 hour gaming session you spend 7 hours pissed off, then you just need to not play that game anymore. Or stick to the modes you know don't piss you off.

Noone here understands where that deep-seeded desire to be the best comes from inside you but you. If you can't kill that part of you then you'll always get mad when people do better than you in games.

Essentially, your problem isn't with losing, it's just that you find that this game doesn't make learning from losing fun or enticing. This is how I feel with SF6 but not tekken.

It's ok to be angry to some degree. You had a goal and you failed in your goal. It's fine to feel upset and disappointed by that. It means you give a damn and want to do well. Don't let the upset feelings consume you though. If it's bothering you get off the game and when you have a more clear head watch the replay back and figure out what you did wrong. Try to understand and improve upon things. When you improve, and you will, you won't get angry as much as you'll be able to be happy that at least you improved and it's trending in the right direction.

Man don't listen them. You have to be angry if you lose. Because when you lose some one thinks that he's a genius and you are noob.

See your rank as the result of your training rather than the goal to train for. Losing rank just means you weren't ready to advance, hit the lab, fight opponents much better than you in casual matches or private lobbies, and after that you'll be set to climb that ladder until the next plateau. And then you'll know it's time for the next part of your training montage.
