Out of curiosity, what CPU are you using? I have the exact same issue and a 1080TI, though my CPU is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ i7-4790. I've not had any issues with other games, and this game actually runs very much fine at ultra settings for me - 60 FPS no probs, it just randonly crashes in single-player. At this point I'm either going to try these half-baked solutions, or attempt to finally upgrade my rig and see if that possibly makes a difference.

You might try going into %Drive:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\TEKKEN 8\Polaris\Binaries\Win64 Right Click > Polaris-Win64-Shipping > in properties set to run as admin. I've heard this also fixes some crashes.

Hey man I'm just gonna say ahead of time, thanks for trying to help everyone. You didn't have to. I'll give this a shot and update later on.

Ok new update. Changed it to run as Admin and got this new error when trying to start Tekken 8 from Steam:

Couldn't start:
X:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\TEKKEN8\Polaris\Binaries\Win64\Polaris-Win64-Shipping.exe Polaris CreateProcess[] returned 2e4

Do you guys perhaps have MSI afterburner or some other hardware monitoring software? I disabled mine and it seems it has fixed this issue (for now)

EDIT:
Even after disabling MSI afterburner the game still crashes sometimes... Waiting for a patch at this point

In fact I do! The thought didn't even occur to me that it might not be agreeing with the game. If I start crashing again I'll def try that. Thanks for the pro tip.

What are some other examples of this? I'm not too sure what I would be looking for.

The reg fix doesn't work and instead of crashing now it crashes and my PC freezes. Not even turning it off does it turn off, I have to cut the power

they better be working on fix cause there just isn't anything we can do. I'm starting to get worried about my disconnect rate on online.
Speaking of, does anyone else basically never crash in offline? It's just that when I'm waiting for an online match or in the middle of one, that this happens

Im watching some youtubers play the game since the crashes forced me to refund it, brian_f was getting constant crashes so hopefully youtubers eating ♥♥♥♥ helps get the issue on the dev's radar if it somehow wasn't already.
