And even back then the 1060 was the entry level card, so it's gonna struggle.
The fps is never 60, like Im capped at 59 for some reason.
Its not pretty but still look better than 1920 with everything set to low (without some AA and post process it looks complete garbage.)
I prioritized fps because I dont want to upset ppl who play against me.
I'm hoping that they patch whatever it's causing these framerate drops.
Also, try TSR over FSR2. It's better visual quality for sure. Try 50% scale with it and see how it stacks up.
If even all low and upscaled and GPU is not full use, check CPU/ Memory:
Are you running your RAM at xmp speeds, or 2133mhz stock?,A lot of people gloss over this and just say the memory amount- it doesn't really matter sub 16GB. Are you also running the sticks in the right slots, aka staggered with one stick to each lane?
Lastly, this helped a great deal for me as i was getting bad frame pacing, was setting a frame target lock via either Nvidia control panel, or using a software called RTSS. It comes paired with MSI afterburner and allows you to put an overlay on your game to view things like resources, temperatures, and speeds of your hardware in real time.
All in all, yeah, PC is old, but there's stuff to fiddle with if you have the patience. I'm assuming you're runnign at 1080p as well. 1440p would definitely be a massive stretch for the GPU
if i can run it on ultra at 4k DLSS at 4K on a 3090 with a 3900x at 60fps no he doesn't need to upgrade his CPU...
Is it occasional drop? I'm also experiencing. But not all the time, only when changing stages. Because if I select rematch, the issue is not coming. This is in offline mode.
You could decrease the quality to 1440p and enjoy stable 60 fps. But if you're sticking with 4K, DLSS balanced in settings is your best bet.
