Some knockdowns don't let you get up quickly however, and certain positions make you especially vulnerable. Worth getting into in depth if you want to stick with the game.
There is no universally best option to get up but generally blocking or rolling are safer.
different ghost characters do it to me but im not sure if nina has attacks that will launch my opponent when they on the floor

But majority of attacks won't relaunch you for full combo if you lie on the ground.
For example Brian's steel pedal will flip you like a pancake if you lie still, be blocked if you stand straight and will combo launch you if you stand crouching (pressing down forward)
Keep in mind that unless you turned back you can block opponents low attacks while on the ground with timer down backward, but becomes vulnerable to mid attacks.
