Looking for friendly players/practice partners

Hello everyone,

The same topic ran with pretty good succes for other fighting games. This thread is meant to introduce yourself to other friendly players that are looking to practice matchups, have "casual" versus matches online, help each other with tips/instructions etc.

I won't be online a ton, but feel free to hit me up when I am to have a couple of rounds!

For background: last Tekken game I played to a serious degree was Tekken Taq (yes, the original one). I have Tekken 7 in my library, but never picked it up due to me being way too far behind the learning curve.

I decided to learn Tekken 8 from the ground up and looking to learn (a lot).
Will most likely be maining King and Paul, throwing sideways glances at Dragunov and Reina.

Yeah, good idea. There is only so much you can learn by yourself in training mode and matchmaking with 2 sets most of the time is not helpful as well.

I played Tekken 7 and Tag 2 a ton competitive. I have my usual suspects but for now its Asuka.

So if you want to play/train against a mid asuka hit me up xD

We can always try.
If there are multiple people from other regions, they can play together as well. Whatever works is good for me.

For some reason I read Anna, not Nina. Got confused for no reason....

Anyone mind training me a bit/fighting some?

I am new to T8, but I have had experience in the older games years ago like 3, 5, 6, and Tag 2 in my middle school years. I was only playing casually then, and not really understanding the game. However I would like to learn and work on the basic fundamentals of the game. The importance of sidestepping, why a KBD is important and when to do it, throw breaks, how to handle pressure, etc. Sending this here since OP commented on my initial post.

But having someone to train with would be great.

Playing as Jin here, had arm surgery last week on both my arms but still playing since I gotta get elbow surgery also soon and getting my time in! Haha
