corrupted save file

I've seen a few people mention corrupted saves. Anyone know the file location? Guess I should start manually backing it up since Steam Cloud will just end up with the corrupted version.

Ah, we need manual back up. I never had issue on T7, but some issues on SC6.
Steam Cloud does not help or more harmful.
Manual back up would be best way.

Manual back up allowed players to reset ranks and set ranks without earning them.

Only solution to that issue is for Tekken to make their own account service. Until then, it'll always be a free-for-all. For now, manual backups are the best way to mitigate any potential corruption that people have been mentioning the past few days.

YALL THIS IS THE SOLUTION FOR THE CLOUD ERROR ON AVERY GAME... FIND THE VIDEO WHERE YOU CHANGE REGION ON STEAM TO RESYNC OR FIND YOURSELF IN SETTINGS.. YOU ALSO NEED TO CLEAN THE CLOUD CACHE IN DOWNLOAD SETTING SO IT WILL DOWNLOAD ALL YOUR SAVED DATA IN THE CLOUD AGAIN...

T7 had the same problem, once the save was corrupted it was game over. Happened to me about 100 hours in and I lost everything, used a save editor in the end to get all the cosmetics unlocked again

Look for a free program called game save manager, scans for and backs up all the save files it can find on your system. I usually run it every couple of weeks or so just to be safe
