Mortal Kombat has it, and it's a cornucopia of insults, slurs, and death threats. I wonder why other game companies don't want that headache to deal with.

It's not a question of whether or not the consumer of the product is willing to deal with it. They're not the ones who have to pay people to field reports for voice related activity all day. The company doesn't want to put revenue towards that, so they don't.

Sad, because I actually enjoy talking to my opponent when they're a good sport. It's fun to compliment and be complimented for sick combos.

No need to imagine, many fighting games have VC on consoles. NRS games like Injustice 1 and 2 and Mortal Kombat 9, X, 11, 1 are just an example of some fighting games with voice chat.

I swear Tekken 6 had voice chat or maybe I'm thinking of Soul Calibur 4, well one of them did. It was very fun to use sometimes but a lot of people didn't have a mic back then.
