" pretty women ARE mostly seen as sexual objects by men since the dawn of mankind and it will always remain so.."
My Fiancee is extremely pretty, if i only saw her as a sexual object I think I must be a oogaa booga caveman incel.
But you did just out yourself as being single permanently. damn.
You can like '' thicc '' characters and want them in the game and also play the game at the same time.
People only acting like a character is sexualized because they have '' big tits '' will never stop being stupid imo.
And acting like women being well-endowed = porn, is sexual objectification...
This whole mentality that womens entire existence becomes pornographic or sexual just because of their body type is sexist and non-sensical.
If they reduced Tifa's bust size she'd literally be more sexy depending on who you'd ask, this is all subjective.......
Ffs people drool over her abs constantly how is it any different.
People sexualize women with muscles and small boobs all the time but it never gets moralized about or people screeching about how their existence is porn.
Even a lot of the same people who will act like you're a pervert if you like big boobs will in the next breath act like blatant perverts about muscular women or go on about '' flat justice '' etc.
The OP kinda has a point that they all have the same body type ( altho that goes for the men too, they also have the same body type... ).
It's not even controversial, and I've seen ppl complain after every female character announcement that they're '' not muscular enough '' and 99.9% of the time they only do it because they think it's sexy.
But ppl never make fun of it or say '' go watch porn '' unless it has to do with big boobs and it's stupid as hell.
Slim and fragile women with up turned eyes and narrow faces also began to be the ideal, shifting away from the preference of plumpness. Small hands and feet were also considered beautiful, therefore socks and rings were worn by women in their sleep to slow down the growth of their limbs. Another major difference between Japan and the West is the value placed on having light-colored skin. Japanese people find pale skin very desirable, so they often use skin whitening products. To keep their skin from getting darker, they also wear things like sunscreen, arm covers and gloves to avoid getting a tan.
Sounds familiar
No, married with kids, terrible guess. You failed to grasp a basic observation about masculine nature or else feigned to it just to throw a personal attack.
Or should I assume that she became your fiancee out of purely platonic and sexually disinterested reasons. If that is the case, you are not representative of the majority of men.
Sexual appeal is the most fundamental and indeed primitive instinct that any straight man has towards an attractive woman at first sight. There is nothing that separates a caveman instincts and a modern man, it is the same hormones, brain structure and inner desires at play at subsconscious level. Only restraint shaped by culture and social conditioning separates them.
The male characters get sexualized constantly too, Hwoarang in particular has a lot of gay fans who reaaaally like the character.
You can find someone sexy and also acknowledge them as a person at the same time, sexual objectification is when you reduce a person entirely to sex hence why I say that reducing women having large breasts to porn is misogynistic and sexual objectification ( because it is... ).
Finding someone sexy or having a certain preference and wanting to see that isn't the same thing as viewing someone a sexual object however.
Cloud in FF7 is actually a good example too he gets sexualized A LOT, even the Resident Evil guys are actually being sexualized quite a lot in the fanart communities there's a whole subsect of the RE community who just obsessively fangirl/ fanboy over them and do lewd art.
Men might be more aggressively open and blatant about it but ppl really need to stop acting like women are asexual and like sexuality can just be reduced to '' big booba '' or like women who are well-endowed can't exist for any other reason than to be pornographic.
bikinis?? NOOO, that's halal brother.
skirts? phohibited, heels? prohibition maximum, make up? NOPEEEEE
long hair or ponytails? straight to hell
I sort of understand your point even though the first paragraph seem to contradict the rest.
Of course a sexy female cannot be reduced entirely to her bodily shapes, no question with that and of course they are acknowledged as persons with their personality. It doesn't change the fact that she is sexually attractive which is pleasant to watch, it is feminine beauty at its finest in display.
As for the large breasts, I don't think it is pornographic, it would be if she was enitrely naked and making sexually suggestive poses. A female body, with large or small breast is just a female body. The pornographic aspect is only there if you decide to see it, it is in your mind or if the person with this body actively tries to be sexually suggestive with her body language.
In the game we have a female with small breasts like Xiaoyu, others with medium like Azucena, and others with large breasts like Zafina, I don't see the issue. None of these characters are pornographic IMO.
They just chose some attractive sexy bodies, cute and pretty faces to make it appealing to look at and play these characters for most people. I don't see the issue with that at all but i respect your opinion.
