Why are the female characters so bland in this franchise?

You never purchased a SF so this tells me you're just a Tekken fanboy... Of course you won't see any flaws in it. I bought both Tekken 8 and sf6 and both are great games. But when it comes to character design SF wins, specially when we're talking about the females.
All of the female character models in Tekken 8 have VERY similar body (I'm a CGI designer and I can easily notice it). In SF all female models are vastly unique from one another.
The male characters in Tekken 8 look so much better as far as model design. They're way more detailed most models are different from one another.

Exactly. I love Tekken 8, been playing it non-stop. But they do share the same models for the females. It's pretty disappointing.

But that’s just your opinion, man. Diverse body types does not mean better. It’s more about the presentation than anything else. SF was always more main-stream than Tekken, and it was not because of the character diversity, but the gameplay. It is only recently that Tekken has become more and more accessible to casuals and newer players while still maintaining enough for the hardcore players to enjoy. Hence, Tekken 8.

SF series in a nutshell, was always simply easier to get into for newbies because of its following combined with its less daunting 10+ move-lists & 2D environment. But, Tekken has been lately creeping up to that following, and here we are today.

Street Fighter? Never heard of it, I only know "Steroid Fighter", and Steroid Fighter 6 is a Super Pozzed Woke Trash! Far Far more Woke than Tekken. There are ZERO "female" character in Steroid Fighter 6, only "Body Type 2"(or 1? I forgot), and even if ((they/them)) look like females in SF6, ((they/them)) could still be males, like some folks' favorite thick Poison or that new Italian fighter, because ((they/them)) can literally call themselves woman while look like man, there are literally options to do that in your favorite Steroid Fighter, that's not "fan service", that's called "Western Woke Propaganda Service".

This isn't a response to anyone in particular but I think from now on anyone that wants to say that female characters in video games have 'unrealistic' body proportions should also state what country they are from. The averages for breast size, butt size etc vary from country to country and race to race. As black African man, I've seen tons of big tits, tons of fat asses and in high school, I dated a girl with an outrageously hourglassy figure.
