Congratulations, you're now better than 90% of the people playing right now.
You watch Muay Thai fights on One Championship? Just curious I'm a big Muay thai fan, love some Rodtang Haggerty etc.
All I got to say about Tekken 8 is we need Fahkumram back in the season passes.
Go and download the top two characters from the leader board for every character and play against them in super ghost battle it's a great way to learn in a low pressure environment. you can also use these replays to practise. This game has revolutionary practise tools learn to enjoy them.
Special style is a trap.
The way that top players play and the way that people play in low ranks is very different. If you download the ghosts for top players, you aren't going to learn how to counter that garbage that's beating you in low ranks.
The top Law ghost isn't going to teach you how to low parry junkyard.
The top Nina ghost isn't going to teach you to duck and launch can opener.
etc.
If you want to beat noobs, you need to learn how to counter all the noob stuff that skilled players don't use because it's too easy to counter. When someone beats you by spamming garbage, load up the replay and figure out how to counter the garbage that they were spamming. Characters in Tekken have move lists that are 100+ moves long. A large portion of these (especially the ones that seem really strong when you're starting out) are gimmicks that become useless as soon as you know how to hard counter them.
Are they using strings that end with highs that you can duck and launch with your while rising punish?
Are they using moves that are punishable on block?
Are they using strings with gaps large enough to counter hit throw them?
It might suck when you go to ranked and good player from tekken 7 destroys you immediately, thats normal because those people need to get through you to get their rank back so to say. You will get bodied by mashers who are unpredictable but thats literally how we all start playing this game.
ghosts are the best thing they added. Ghosts teach you how to approach 100 different situations and learn from them.
Or i quess if you dont have 200 + hours to learn your character in good fighting game you can always dumb 2000+ hours on call of duty.
