Low FPS due to Shader compilation?
I've being playing for a while, getting random half fps(mostly it runs at 30fps) while something happens, a move, new stage... At first I thought it was me having a low-end pc for Tekken 8.

Although I have a ryzen 5 5600x, 16gb ram, rtx2060 and the game installed on a SSD M.2, it should be running just fine at 60fps stable. So I remembered that Street Fighter 6 preloaded shaders before the game. I guess the problem it's actually the shaders. Should it be solved by playing a bit and getting it to slow down? I guess there is no solution right now. But it should be one, it's not fun when a game suddenly starts working at half speed even if it's only happening sometimes and only once per move or sth like that.

I hope for some update of some sort to aliviate this issue, I've being reading it happens since the closed beta test so my expectations are low. On the other hand gotta say the game feels awesome when it's working just fine.

Yeah it sounds like a common issue. Try tweeting nicely at Harada maybe. Your rig sounds like it should be able to run the game fine on at least mid settings.

Have you tried checking your RAM usage while in-game? I have a ludicrous amount of chrome tabs open along with the game, 32GB of RAM and I've using over 50% of my available RAM. The game is using like 4.5GB while just sitting a menu currently and chrome is using like 3.8GB and I guess there are just a bunch of background windows 10 processes that bring it up to 17GB RAM usage.

Actually it works pretty good in Ultra settings with DLLS Quality, but the drops happens time to time when some new effect is happening. I guess we will have to compile all the shaders before it goes completely smooth..

The solution is keep playing and the problem will resolve itself when everything is compiled. It sucks but I don't think there is another fix. Really common behavior for most modern games too.
