Change AREA/REGION setting?

I need help in changing my area/region, I have been put in americas 1 while im in SEA....I think its the reason why I have pretty bad matchmaking rn and idk how to change :(

From OCE verse some friends MS 270+ but with some other friends its 30ms??

Same for me, playing on steam deck in EU and just realised that I'm coming up as america 1. Any idea on amending that for Steam Deck?

i found the solution im using windows 11 straightly to windows setting search date and time and go to change your region *don go to control panel site , and its workin hope it helps

Same for me, playing on a windows 11 PC and had 200+ ping playing with a friend in the same country (Asia 2). Finding decent ranked matches is quite hard also since the "Connection quality does not meet expectations" notification keeps popping up. Using wired internet and after doing a speedtest it showed good results.

From South Africa on Regian Africa 003 and i get the same issue i keep matching with guys from America on 1 bar unless i use a vpn which is super unstable

The region in the game has changed. Now the players from my region do not refuse to fight me

However, matchmaking still takes a lot of time

If you're having problems with your region, it's because your PC on windows in the date and time settings is set on another country than your own.

Doubt it. My PC settings are set to the region I am in and I still get 200 ping. Only "Fix" that has worked for me is using a VPN which has made 80% of my games playable.
