Change AREA/REGION setting?

I need help in changing my area/region, I have been put in americas 1 while im in SEA....I think its the reason why I have pretty bad matchmaking rn and idk how to change :(

Same issue here, I'm getting 300+ ping playing with my friend when we both are in India and in session search the signal quality os asian servers is shown poor and for europe and USA it shows 4-5 bar signal.

If you haven't already, change your Windows Region settings. For some reason Tekken uses this setting to determine your region by default.

I did changed and still the connection is the problem, I tried creating my own lobby and instantly im 2 bars.....idk what is happening

Changing region won't help getting rid of the lag

Changing the region doesn't help, it didn't work for me and for someone i read online, only his signal quality changed from 1 bar to 2 bar but the game was still unplayable.

from india, facing the same issue, tekken 7 worked just fine online, I cant even get indian players for matchmaking. Its literally unplayable online

Same man, it is at least relieving to see that other Indians are facing this and that I'm not alone. I was losing my mind here. This is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up.

am in OCE, same problem. windows region and steam region is correct, and even tried VPN but no dice. Weird because it worked fine in Tekken 7 and even the Tekken 8 CNT

If you're on linux/steam deck you need to put HOST_LC_ALL=your language here %command% (example HOST_LC_ALL=sv_SE.UTF-8 %command%) in the Tekken 8 launch option on steam.

Don't know the solution on Windows.

Having similar problem from Australia, struggle to find any 4 bar games for the entire afternoon / evening. I tried in online player game search, change location from close to me to any, can see US / EU games showing 4-5 bars, OCE games showing 2-3 bars only... insane!
