characters look blurry

i have most settings on medium and im in tutorial so far, but both jin and paul look very blurry for some reason, any fix?

check the resolution scale right under the resolution display. it defaulted mine to 80, i put it back to 100 and have not noticed any performance issues but that goes from setup to setup.

most likely the upscaling setting, there's like 10 different ones and you can't turn it off.
try NIS, I'm not sure what it is but it seems to be the best one (could be wrong though)

game always working with upscaler, so you always play at lower resolutiont than you choose.
Try to change upscaler quality*(DLSS/FSR/etc) and also you can try set higher resolution than your native. If you on nvidia, you can do it with DSR.
Also I reccomed to set Postprocessing to mid or low for more sharpen image.

I dont mind a bit of blur although I did update the graphics settings after the optimisation stage at the launch of the game, both settings run and feel smooth gameplay wise which I think is most important

It is the upscaler quality setting. Try all 10 of them. A tip* there is kazuya in the background of the menu. You can instantly see if the blur has increased or decreased by focusing on him in the background instead of starting a new match for every setting.

that sound stupid, if you have problems with deep of field or the chromatic aberration just switch to low postprocesing and turn off tonemapper im not sure if youre a troll or what...
