I'm not getting any "Polaris" errors, the game just freezes up and I get an AMD driver "timeout" message. Not sure if this is the same problem everyone else is having. The performance itself is great so it can't just be my computer being too weak. Hoping this is being worked on as I currently cannot play the game in this state. It seriously crashes at complete random, even character creator or main menu will crash at random. Hell, it even managed to crash 10 seconds after booting the game one time.
I have GPU underutilization, GTX 1050M 4GB. Performance stats reports 100% GPU utilization, but power consumption is like it loaded on 80+- %, and FPS is below locked 60. CPU i5 8250U, there is more then enough, because even if I disable Turbo Boost, and have 1600 MHz or so, there FPS is also around 50-60.
Over the last days i had this disk write error. I had looked up this Problem and every Video or article i saw didn't help.

what dns adress did you use?
Any fix for special Control randomly pop up in matches . I unbind it so I can’t turn it off when it pops up.

I have yet to even make it to the main menu as I get this error everytime I launch the game. I have tried a bunch of recommended fixes for the ue-polaris crash, but none of them have worked.
Just got a crash on Practice. "Fatal Error!"

And everytime I launch the game for the first time I get the "Initializing Sequence" whatever crash. Really annoying.

Exact same specs, exact same problem. Not going to go into details as to what I have tried because the list is too long and I dont want to waste your time in trying them. This is not your problem, I have raised this with Namco support and I would advise you do the same as this pinned post hasnt been updated since launch and is doing more harm than good.

If you want to increase the odds of this getting looked at sooner raise a ticket with Namco if you havent already using the respective link for your region in the pinned post.

Alright guys I tried a few fixes but I think I finally found one for the Polaris crash. At least since the recent fix I havent crashed yet played an hours worth of ranked and quick match. The fix may be going to the tekken 8 folder under your steamapps right click TEKKEN 8.exe then goto properties, then comparability, finally change the compatibility to windows 8 and check the box to run as administrator. Seems weird I know but so far the only thing that has genuinely worked for me hope it helps yall enjoy some GOOD ASS TEKKEN. :praisesun:

yeah mine crashed later too but its less often..they need to update the game on their end tbh.

Still getting them as well. I've tried every fix that's been floating around, nothing works.

Any *ACTUAL* fixes for that Polaris crash? I can't load online fight lounge.
Edit: I can't load arcade mode, just like in the demo. Which means I can't get any achievements or unlock things.

Several Movies in the Gallery makes the game permanently hang.
Focring to ALT+F4 to close the game.
Happens on Movie 5-5, 9-1, 10-8 and 13-1

Ranked Mode immediately Crashes on Matchmale (leading to penalties).
Fatal Error: UE-Polaris Game has crashed and will close.

The same problem here ... Polaris Crash, loading stuck, crazy down variation fps in char selection. (training mode, story ... )
whats going on with this errors, I cant play 1 hour.
