Customization is worse than 7

How did they manage to make it worse? Character outfits are locked to being full body instead of being broken up between upper and lower like the last 3 games, meaning you can't mix and match generic pieces with the characters base. Some outfits (like kings for example) can't change the colour of all components despite having 13 colour channels to play with.

Every male has the same 51 upper body options, which are just 10 types of upperbodywear with different color zones, retexturing etc. 27 types of lowerbody, split across: 1 type of shorts, 5 gi bottoms, 2 combat pants and the rest are all jean/suit/track variants. 18 shoes.

Whats worse is all of those costume parts are generic. There's no "pants with excessive belts" or "Motorcycle jacket with tons of padding". There's no wrestler gear, no samurai armour, no military fatigues, no goofy/wacky options at all. At a certain point you might aswell just remove the customisation option all together and just leave it at alternate costumes.

I just want more outfits man, not generic clothes, but the past games' outfits.

The customization seems half-assed...

Even the new eye color change they implemented sucks, you only have like 6 options (forgot how many exactly) of different eyes, but u can't change their colors....why....

I'm on omega copium that they'll add more costumes and flesh out the customization in future free updates...

They didn't with T7, and they backtracked with 8, it's not looking good.

Saw the video update on customization a few weeks back and yeah...this is basically a sidegrade of T7 customization where there took a step forward then another step back. I think the problem is that all the dev team did was try to make small changes to the T7 system, evident in that the general look and feel are similar. If T7 is any indication, there will be sparse and mediocre updates in the next 4-5 years, probably with even more paid DLC updates than before, before the devs call it, and mods will be the only saving grace.

by far its the worse one so far. not much to use on top of most being recolors of the same thing. this on top of most full body costumes that you can change the colors of some parts killing the hole thing.

You know there were people complaining about other stuff in T7's forum. Many ppls at that time said the devs never goes to the steam forum. But they actually did, and implemented many things in T8 that were discussed there.

Now the poor customisation complaint is legit, but seeing its made by a bunch of weirdos that never touched a woman will not convince anyone.

Sensibility is not a western trend, its worldwide. Not every one wants so see half naked women fighting on their screen. They are focusing on the game being a spectator's game, they want as many people worldwide to watch, including children.

Also obviously there will be bikinis dlcs same as T7 had. But if you want right now, mods for you.

We have those, I've checked customization vids and it seems quite of the same thing? Just the added eye things and shoes are now their own piece. Someone mentioned somethimg about full outfits but thats for the default outfits afaik

I dont need any Char Customization if the Models look like Soulless Sexdolls.
I cant understand how a Fighting Game wer the Char is the Main Point has so bad Graphics and Games like Last of us 2 look to this Day better
