Customization is worse than 7

How did they manage to make it worse? Character outfits are locked to being full body instead of being broken up between upper and lower like the last 3 games, meaning you can't mix and match generic pieces with the characters base. Some outfits (like kings for example) can't change the colour of all components despite having 13 colour channels to play with.

Every male has the same 51 upper body options, which are just 10 types of upperbodywear with different color zones, retexturing etc. 27 types of lowerbody, split across: 1 type of shorts, 5 gi bottoms, 2 combat pants and the rest are all jean/suit/track variants. 18 shoes.

Whats worse is all of those costume parts are generic. There's no "pants with excessive belts" or "Motorcycle jacket with tons of padding". There's no wrestler gear, no samurai armour, no military fatigues, no goofy/wacky options at all. At a certain point you might aswell just remove the customisation option all together and just leave it at alternate costumes.

yeah boring game,tekken tag tournament 2, tekken 7 and tekken 8 same customization -_- tekken 6 better tekken of the world !

i'm waiting mods, it's for that i buy the game on PC not on ps5

I'm actually in agreement here, the customization is terrible, I would have rathered them not add this quest mode and just put more focus on customization, the choices are seriously lacking and it doesn't make me want to slog through the effort to unlocking content I have no interest in touching.

Its by far the worst customization in tekken, its such a big disgrace to the fans since allot of people complained about t7 limited customization. its funny, T7 had far more customization items then t8.

T8 has copy pasted customization items from T7, in essence it has also significant fewer customization items then 7, T8 does not offer unique customes per characters, there is rather allot of reused items nd some other items that absolutely look generic nd awfull mostly the upper nd lower body, which is supper lazy nd scummy to the player since they ask for premium price.

I never complained about Tekken when it comes to design nd customization, jesus even the Facial hair nd hair styles looks so absolute poor, Its clear to me that they hired a very small incompetent staff, I mean this is absolute rip off, the game has already cut content, but this is absolutely ilicit to do, Harada needs confrontation, this is unacceptable.

Yeah, I can't understand how they could make the character customization worse. There are some improvements like changing the eyes color or diferents types of make up, but overall is terrible.

Much less content than Tekken 7. Only hope is that developers will be adding each season more options and costumes but right now is pitiful.

At least on PC we'll have mods for fixing this lack of variety (and quality) but on console they're f*cked.

At a certain point you might aswell just remove the customisation option all together and just leave it at alternate costumes.

The only way they can fix remedy this issue, is to simply update the mode with more items via DLC or as free updates. Guess which one the Tekken team is going to go with? So until then? We must wait on the PC mods.
