Performance is also stable at low settings.
Settings wise, I kept it at medium preset sitting well at 60fps on most if not all stages. For the slightly more demanding ones, I dialed it down to 65 on the resolution scaling. At that resolution scale, you can bump up the anti aliasing quality to clean up the image a bit too. Hope this helps
Holds 60fps in fights. In lobbies and stuff it will dip but its 60 where it counts most.
Thats really bad, at this point the game looks absolute much worse then T7 nd runs worse which is really significant nd shows you how badly optimized this game is. Im sure t8 also pusshes more power usage on the deck with even bad performance while compromising the visuals significantly which is not oky.
Resolution = 1280x800
V-Sync = Off
Variable Rate Shading = On
Render Quality Preset = Custom
Render Scale = 65
Upscaling = TSR
Anti-Aliasing Quality = Low
Shadow Quality = Low
Texture Quality = High
Effect Quality = Low
Post-Processing Quality = Low
Background Quality = Low
The settings I'm using are the best I could come up with in a short amount of time to maintain as much visual quality and hold 60 fps during matches. These settings pay little regard to performance elsewhere in the game. It's possible that the render scale might need to be adjusted slightly for certain characters/stages but I haven't found any glaring issues so far..
Even after disabling iGPU in the bios, applying several commands in the properties and making sure that proton hot fix was selected, I Still have Tekken 8 freeze on start up.
Are there any other solutions for Linux/steam deck users?
