Slow motion?

Gameplay is running at half speed, not stuttering just straight slow mo. Anyone having the same thing happen?

The game just has a garbage optimization, I have the same problem.

ok update the issue came back so im guessing after a certain amount of time it just comes back. i guess it is some kind of optimization issue for the game

Update for anyone having this issue. I have an RX 7600. I turned off AMD's anti-lag in their software for this game and it seems to have mostly fixed the slow motion in most matches. I was able to play for about 4 hours straight until I was done for the day. Much better than having to restart the game every 45 minutes or so as if it has a memory leak.

Slow motion is because you are clearly trying to force an unlocked fps in your gpu control panel on a 60fps locked game

And things like AMD anti lag will also cause issues

You’re playing a fighting game. Stop trying to force settings for fps games onto them

I initially had my game locked at 60fps like nearly all games I play, but yeah still had issues until I turned off AMD's anti-lag which is ironic lol.

It’s not ironic. Anti lag throttles the cpu to slow down frames produced by the gpu. This would only make sense if you were playing a game at an uncapped fps

As Tekken 8 is a locked 60fps game it makes no sense to ever throttle your cpu because by throttling you will reduce your fps to improve input latency. T8 has both fixed fps and input latency so anti lag breaks the code

Makes sense. I never did my research on AMD's settings (I should lol) so thanks for that info.

Personally I never had anti-lag enabled but it still is slow. Just comes from the optimization of the game.

Same here. i never had any anti-lag or anything enabled in AMD setting.
Literally everything is off and i have this slow motion issue sometimes

You guys somehow have FPS below 60.
Fighting games are hard coded to run at 60fps and if there is less then they run slower rather than choppy.

Check if your GPU can run the game at 60fps and if you don't have any FPS limiter set anywhere.

Honestly i struggled with the slow motion and all i had to was turn off vsync. 24 hours of struggling and vsync off it runs perfect benchmark 300 with a 2060 super RTX
