Slow motion?
Gameplay is running at half speed, not stuttering just straight slow mo. Anyone having the same thing happen?

turn off Vsync from nvidia control panel and limit frames to 60 (if your screen is over 60)
also, make sure to play on english. seem like the game has problems with different languages.

I'm having the exact same issue, i've tried endless troubleshooting and it still runs like in slo-mo during the fighting. Yet i can run cyberpunk gtav and other high graphical demand games just fine?!?!?

Have you found a fix yet?
same bug :) its annoying and its very strange and inconsistent depends on the arena

You guys somehow have FPS below 60.
Fighting games are hard coded to run at 60fps and if there is less then they run slower rather than choppy.

Check if your GPU can run the game at 60fps and if you don't have any FPS limiter set anywhere.

I started having the same problem after installing the latest nvidia driver.
I reinstalled the old one (546.65) and no more problems, it's super smooth again !
strange latest driver is especially for tekken 8 hmm

I was having this exact same issue with my 3070, seemingly at random. At first, I thought it was a memory leak as it'd happen after an hour or so of gameplay and restarting the game would stop it completely, but I noticed it happened more often when there were a lot of effects going on in the background.

Setting Effect Quality to Medium and Background Quality to Low fixed it. Haven't faced the issue since then.

EDIT: Yeah, it started doing it again after a few hours. Whatever.

I played the whole story mode on release day with 0 problems everything ran perfect but now I am stuck at like 45 frames and the game feels like its in slow motion. Nothing I have found has been able to fix it im wondering what even happened to cause this.

AMD specific, radeon antilag or the framerate limiter seemed to cause 45ish frames and slowmotion for me

I have both of it on and haven’t noticed a difference but will test it out later on. Seems to work just fine with it on but will test it later tonight to be sure.

Putting in my bit. It seems to happen every other game to me. A few matches will be 60FPS, and usually upon rematching it'll go to slow motion, not resolving itself until the match is over. Even happens when viewing offline replays. Sometimes it'll be smooth, sometimes it'll be Slowwwww motionnnnn.

can confirm on my vega 56 with latest drivers. Anti lag could be potential issue. But it's bit strange in my case, slow-mo is only when i play online, in offline its just renders slow on start of scenes.

Coming here for an update-- following this and forcing V-Sync off fixed the issue completely. Thanks!

I have the same problem. My specs are RX 7600, i3-12100f, 16gb 3600mhz ram, and installed on SSD. Using all latest drivers.

I can play on ultra 1080p at 60fps for maybe 45 minutes to an hour and it starts playing in slow motion at 30fps and below.

I'll try some of the potential fixes listed here when I play again and see if it helps because I wasn't sure if it was a Tekken problem, setting, or driver issue.
