Excrutiatingly long load times

I think something's wrong with my PC, because loading in character models on character select is taking 5+ seconds. Trying on customization options holds me hostage for 10+ seconds.

It's on an NVM drive that tests healthy, normal numbers on Crystal Diskmark. My specs meet the recommended specifications on every single target. 400+ score, and the game never so much as stutters while in game, I get a buttery smooth 60FPS. It's literally just the loading times.

What should I do?
CPU : Ryzen 5 2700x with stock cooler (changed from 4 lol)
MOBO : Asus Prime x570-P
RAM : Corsair Vengeance 32GB @3200 Mhz
GPU : EVGA GEFORCE RTX 2080 SUPER
STORAGE : HP EX920 500GB (windows boot drive, installed here), Samsung Evo 860 1TB, Seagate 5GB HDD
PSU : Antec 750w Gold

Edit: Here is what I tried:
-I have reinstalled it several times. Both the demo and the main version share this issue.
-I have installed the game and the demo on both of my SSDs, neither has any improvement in load times.
-I have cleared my page file.
-I have tested my SSDs with several separate applications.

Note: This was happening in the demo in the same way.

Edit: I think I fixed it on my end. Clean installed Windows 10, and then ran a program called Windows10Debloater[github.com]. using the "Remove all Bloatware" and "Remove all Telemetry" options, I removed a bunch of telemetry phone home BS that was constantly taxing my C drive. Now my characters load in about a second, sometimes two. Oh, before I forget: I also turned off Windows Search, AND disabled indexing on my C: drive.

I've installed Tekken 8 on my SSD, and I haven't ran into any long loading times. But, when I was playing the Demo on my HDD, I had long loading times.

I swear it's not on my HDD. I've checked and reinstalled it like four times now.

HDD is the problem. plays fine on my SSD and pretty quick.

I don't have it on my HDD. It's not on my HDD. I have only tried installing it on SSD's, one NVME and one SATA.

Was preloading causing issues? i did.

For some people I have read yes, not for me but I have read it caused problems.

I haven't heard about that thank you, I'll uninstall and reinstall and see what happens. It runs perfectly but i have very long loading times and framedrops during matches. The game seems to struggle to load anything even mundane things like visual effects and such. It also takes really long to load a chapter in story mode.

Looking at your specs there definitely shouldn't be an issue, you've got a good rig, I know it sounds stupid of me to ask but you have done the new graphics card update haven't you?

Looking at your specs there definitely shouldn't be an issue, you've got a good rig, I know it sounds stupid of me to ask but you have done the new graphics card update haven't you?

I'm not the guy that started this thread, those aren't my specs. I did update my gpu drivers though.

for me the game runs smooth like butter except when looking at character customization. it takes like 10-20 seconds to preview and when you select something else it has to unequip the previewed item and thats another 10-20 seconds of waiting. it just makes me stick to preset outfits.

I did. It was the first thing I did. It had absolutely no impact between now and when I was playing the demo on older gpu update.

I've also uninstalled, reinstalled, started the game, and then verified the cache to fix any preloading related issues.

I have the same issue. It's super annoying. Hopefully they fix the issue in a patch. Keep this thread at the top of the page so they see it.

Character customisation is not usable in this state.
