people say Kazuya is difficult, but i want to main him. any tips?

im new to tekken and Kazuya looks very cool to me.. but i heard from everywhere thats he is very hard to play.. what is ur tips in this situation? should i look for another main?

You can play Kazuya even without electrics. It won't be the easiest character but you can play with it anyway, plus in heat you can do electrics even with less than perfect execution. A positive thing is that if you learn Kazuya you learn the fundamentals of the whole game, because Kazuya, apart from 50/50, doesn't have unga bunga moves

I've never understood what that star icon means in the electric god fist, does that mean I need to wait a second before I do the next input?

you can't mash with kazuya, stay still, wait for the opponent to do a move, block it, and then 112 if its punishable, and then they're in your vortex which at a lower level is going to be basically unescapable because noobs dont know how to block low

The star means to return your directional input to neutral, so if on pad don't press a direction, and if on stick, let it return to center.
