PC vs PS5

Since Steam has a good refund policy I can still refund. I usually get most fighting games on Console, this would be my first one on PC. I don't really trust PC ports of fighting games, the Demo runs decent on my rig with DLSS. But the demo also runs flawlessly on my PS5 too.

Honestly, PS5. You can just turn off-cross play and not have to worry about being placed against somebody trying to run it on a Pentium 3 and a Geforce FX 5700 or something.

Pc always has less input lag, that’s why pros always play on pc

I've heard some things about input delay being "funky" on PS5. That's actually one of my main concerns, and keeping PS+ up.

I played the demo on ps5 before I tried it on my PC, I didn't have any input delay, played it for a good few days (but I gotta take more breaks with fighting games unfortunately). Still pretty fun, I think either device is fine to get tekken on, but I guess if you have or care about a playing on a steam deck getting it on PC has the benefit.

Also enjoy paying to play online on console too

Pc is a no brainer where there is no online subscription required

I have heard good things on the input side of things regarding PS this time.

PC got better players, with better connections, lower input lag and free online.

No point in getting this game on PS5 unless you wanna make Sony richer by subscribing to a glorified game rental service that lock online play and your cloud save behind a paywall that got increased last year for no reason. Oh I almost forgot : mods.

For the most part it really doesn't matter since it has crossplay, so it's really just which platform do you prefer.

Pc, with the AI we don't need to play vs online. And we will have a lot of mods later.

From what I undestand the only downside to pc is player base and since T8 has crossplay it shouldn't be an issue. Upsides are that you can mod and usually PC has less input delay + better graphics.

biggest downside to pc imo is that it actually has a chance of having cheaters online.. but it should only apply to the highest rank online

With crossplay being a reality the chances of fighting a cheater on PC is the same on any platform.
