Which edition should I get?

I really want the ultimate but obviously I can't justify the cost just to get three Mii costumes but if these are unobtainable post-launch I may have to. Thoughts?

The mii's were confirmed to have an unique emote in lobby for each of the three, like an electric etc. (equippable without their body)

Not sure if they'll sell it seperately or sell an upgrade option. Idk if they'll add any emotes/cosmetics down the line, or even do battlepasses, but it wouldn't be out of the picture with a new season or something

Sounds like they should and could take advantage of the mii plaza fight lounge by adding more custom mii outfits n emotes for some virtual currency or just pricing it with real life money.

Standard is all you need. The gold skins are awful. There will be a character season pass at some point if you end up being interested in them.

I like being able to access all the characters in any fighting game, so getting the season pass in the deluxe version made sense.

Having characters not accessible makes the game feel incomplete.

The first character isn't even due for months. You are essentially giving them an interest free loan until you receive what you paid for. The four characters won't all be released until next Winter.

Yeah but next winter I won't be thinking about that extra $10-$20 I spent to get deluxe, cos I would have made a lot more money from now to then, to not worry about it.
