Tekken 8 VR is pretty good

I stopped liking fighting games over 20 years ago but in VR it makes these kinds of games a little fun again. Tekken 8 VR is pretty good.

dude right? its fn amazing! cant wait til other people realize the immersion this stuff brings when vr headsets and or glasses are mainstream. its actually the future of gaming.

Exactly! so many people dont know what they are missing, all games are SO MUCH more immersive in VR.

my man! people wont ever want to go back when its officially implemented in games like this that are orignally 2d. Like imagine how much better off vr PROBABLY could have been if they started it off with making 2d games into 3d vr space games instead AND THEN went to the half life alyxs and all of those other ACTUAL vr games. What a hugely missed oppurtunity to kick start vr. Now you and I and the rest of the people who realize the potential of vr are stuck in time until then. lol first world problems but hey. You understand <3

oh sorry for the bait lol there IS one but its unofficial. Its called UEVR and you inject vr into an unreal engine 5 game. And possibly a unreal engine 4 game. I forget. But I WOULDNT recommend doing it on the full game as I dont know if anyone knows if itll be picked up as cheating and could result in a ban. OP and I are using it on the demo which is offline only.

ah, not officially supported. I would not trust using any kind of injections for online play.

VR how so.. if you mean a desktop mode + controller thats just a desktop mode...

.. thats just allowing the camera to use head tracking

smh..

VR as you are IN the game instead of watching it on a flatscreen, shake your head again.

If that's the idea of immersion lol have at it. Tekken is already the fighting equivalent of QWOP as it is.

Yeah but eventually VR will be mainstream and will replace flatscreen in the future, it will take a few years but it will happen.

its kind of like what youre saying. You use your gamepad or keyboard or fight stick but youre using your headset as well and youre in a vr space that is similar immersion to if you were to play an official VR game where its full 3 dimensional and you can look anywhere in the game with your head while the fighters stay there and fight and you put in inputs on your controller or input device just like good ole tekken has always been played. Its soooo fun. But I totally understand if its not for you. I respect that.
