if you're lower rank, just wear the rank with pride, we're all at different skill levels at the end of the day
i am just proposing with the consideration of people that might want to play ranked, but afraid/ care about their rank to a certain extent... This sort of function might be beneficial and making ranked more accessible to people that want to compete but having that mental barrier of fear... that way it also indirectly help the community as without the fear people would be more willing to experiment and participate in the game.. some people will not care about the rank.. but some people do..
But that's kinda makes no sense because casuals don't care about rank to begin with
Rank is for more hardcore players. If people can't handle rank pressure, they shouldn't be playing rank. You can't grow unless you learn how to lose
I mean, some people disable the health bar in "Dark Souls" in order to not get stressed out about how much health they have left.
People who say "You should learn to..." can f right off.
This isn't something you learn that easily.
Seeing something that shocks you?
"Learn not to be shocked!"
I would say yeah, devs should go for this stuff.
I mean, they go over a million hoops in order to draw people into their online modes... this tiny option wouldn't be much work in comparison.
No the lack of pressure won't encouraged you to improve. Why would you? You are doing fine already.
