How do i set up a specific control to go diagonal just like how i only have to press one key to move left or right.

I don't think you can. You'll just have to get used to pressing 2 movement buttons at once like any leverless user.

Diagonal inputs don't exist. They're a combination of 2 cardinal inputs.

You can try keyboard setting third party software but I think that would be cheating.

You can as well just Macross every important move and kbd itsrlf

I think he mention to 2+3 and 1+4 combine keys, you can setting it, but first you need to key binding, and after go controller setting to set it. If about movement keys, you can't do combine keys like that, you must press 2-3 keys for perform qcf or something like that as manual

I just played the demo with an old PS3 controller (via the hardline usb charger) works fine on my PC. Do yourself a favor and work this out. Don't try this on a keyboard

you would have to set up a macro, which in a way is kinda like cheating....
honestly if you get used to inputing the correct diagonal as d and f it will make you a better player, don't go for shortcuts.

i am in minority that uses keyboard arrow keys for movement but keyboard is totally viable for tekken, though some keyboards are better than the other

Yes, keyboard is definitely viable. It's like playing on a hitbox as long as you don't lose track of the right buttons.

You can't, not by default. You can make a custom macro on your keyboard to emulate 2 buttons when you press 1 button. So, when you press E, it will press D and W keys for you.

Keyboard is actually the optimal controller to play Tekken and fighting games in general. It's much better than a stick and gamepad. It's basically Hitbox:

But better. It has much more buttons and you have more freedom on where to put your binds.
