then don't play Tekken its not a game for the epileptic never was..
the tekken 7 stage with the lights and lasers are not epileptic friendly
turn the brightness down on the card.
The effects are a teaching tool.
The aspect of getting a headache and dizzyness is saying something, it does not mean turn the settings down or off. Thats what the Epilepsy warning is for.
The game tekken is high impact sensory overload, and never was meant for people with epileptic issues.
The game just looks ♥♥♥♥ as is, efects wise.
All I am voicing, are concerns whether or not they will give players options to somehow aleviate the bs they created. And giving players such settings in menu is not that hard. It's only a question of whether they have it in themselves to acknowledge their mistake in the design.
For all I care, they can even give ppl an option to crank it up to 11, as long as there is also an option to cut it to the minimum. That is what a decent dev team should strive to do- the more settings, the better.
And ppl like you, downplaying legitimate complaints, are the stupidest ppl there are in the industry. What do you care if they give such option to players that want it? It does not affect you in any way. It does not even increase the cost of production, as this is a togglable settings in the engine. They only have to tick a few boxes and bam- here are the available settings.
There will be mods doing that anyhow, if the devs do not take their heads out of their asses, tho. So there's that
Stop downplaying valid concerns ppl have regarding a product.
they already did turn the settings down, most people are ok with them now aside the minority. Mods will be your best bet
At best

yes, they did. BUT only after ppl complained. And ppl like you, that only try to downplay the concerns, are even bigger issue. Because your input on the matter is irrelevant, since this is not an issue for you. And your input is only creating noise, that clouds the message that ppl try to convey to the dev team.
Just do not do that :D
Input like this "it's not an issue for me" are irrelevant, pointless and hold no value in topics created to address a certain issue for certain ppl.
I am delighted, that the game in current state is perfect for you. All power to you, and I wish you have a blast with T8.
as i said before its just been the very few https://steamcommunity.com/app/1778820/discussions/0/4030223299344075345/?ctp=3#c7119694909428089128
even the search returns less than a minority with most of it being here and just 3 persons

Chances are its caused by HDR or Monitor saturation settings.
if its under 60fps it will look worse as will certain features that make the game look muddied or shimmering like Kazuyas coat
No its not
People who think sf6 effects are better is straight giveaway for personal nitpick, troll or simply hating, because the effects in SF6 is total crap, both artistically and competitively.
SF6 is based on SFIV so no .. SFIV was done the same way and was massive..
I've only seen SF6 in some trailers. Cannot comprehensively comment on the severity and feel of these effects. SF is simply not my cup of tea.
Tekken 8 effects are too abundant, dense, too flashy and create way too much contrast disparity.
However, there is an easy fix for that- enable the settings for ppl to fiddle the effects to their liking. I's in the engine, to toggle these options for users.
That is all ppl are asking. Not for straight up removal of it from the game, because I am quite aware, and understanding, that ppl like this.
It's just a matter of preference, and you're downplaying valid, constructive complaints- you're either a troll, or a bad actor, doing so out of malice. You gain nothing by creating noise around constructive complaints. If the issue does not affect you, walk past by such threads and do not downplay the issues. The argument like "it's not an issue for me" are doing no good, and introduce no value to the conversation.
Minority is not worth the added tweaks . this is below the minority . more people then yes . this was already tweaked in the beta . the CBT . and the Demo. if it was a easy fix they would have . its a choice to show the player how to play in real time. to build addiction . muscle memory . and dopamine . Namco wont add a toggle for the effects outside of saturation .
Anyhow, it is not adding tweaks, it's just ticking few boxes in the EU5 engine, so users have additional sliders in settings...
the hitsparks represent punishment and disorientation for being hit.
Been that way for most fighting games DOA is the exception .
Enjoy Tekken 8
Following your thought process, settings that cater to disabled ppl, epileptics, etc- are not worth implementing, because they are minority. That is a best chuckle I've had this week, for sure. I appreciate you introducing some comedy value to the conversation, mate
And yet they arent here on the tekken 8 forums complaining about a game that would cause them mental harm with or with out the visual tweaks. As I said Over-stimulation is Tekken
I never advocated for removal of these from the game.
I am drawing comparisons between T7 and T8 effects- where as in T7 it was ok-ish, and in T8 it is straight up overdone.
And the fact, that this can be fixed for ppl with enabling some additional sliders in the menu, is the whole point of ppl complaining. And the fact, that your only argument is that this is not an issue for YOU, thus should be left as is, is plain childish.
If you have a friend, that is on a wheelchair, do you also oppose building a ramp or a lift so they can enter a building? Because this is basically what you are doing with your pointless argumentation
