- Main Story mode, which is said to be 1.5 times bigger than Tekken 7's.
- Character episodes, 5 battles + Ending movie for each character.
- Arcade Quest Mode: Tutorial/Story/Ghost battle sort of deal. This is your story as a player (create a cartoony character).
- Tekken Ball... I think this is playable with CPU, I am not sure.
- Classic Arcade mode.
- Customization mode. Buy and equip outfits with money you earn in game.
These are the confirmed solo modes so far.
Is there Team battle or Survival? Who knows...
TEKKEN FRICKIN' FORCE? So many people want that XD But I doubt it'll be there at launch. The would have mentioned it.
I am a solo player mostly and I plan to buy soon, it is good enough for me, but I am a Tekken fan since Tekken 3 so I'd buy anyway XD
Tekken4 still the best Tekken a million years later.
Besides it's lack of characters, I agree with it being the best single-player experience out of all of them.
Hell I still boot up my ps2 from time to time to play the Tekken Force mode, it was challenging as hell.
tekken 4? wtf?!
though if you compare it to Tekken 3 I guess that's already a lot of content...
you could even play a sort-of-single-player by downloading and fighting ghosts.
Meanwhile, factually, the majority of people didn't like it for plenty of solid reasons just at a glance if they came off Tekken 3 at the time. They still played it and I'm sure they can understand what it did differently paved the way for what we have today with its direction.
Netherealm games seem to be filled to the brim with content at first glance, but they're every bit grindy and frustrating and you can't do anything without the servers being up and running.
I heard people got locked out of using characters they paid for because invasion was broken or something.
I've had it with MK11 and Injustice 2, that is why I skipped MK1 (Well that and the gore has gotten too detailed and gross lol).
I agree, i personally love it!
So maybe it wasn't the best when it comes to gameplay "feel", but it had awesome stages and best writing in a Tekken game in my opinion. Graphics and soundtrack were very nice too. I still listen to the soundtrack every now and then.
If you truly only want to play it for single player just forget it exist for another 5-7 years then buy it for under $10. Also if you don't have Tekken 7 go buy that for under $10 and play that instead.
