Ultimate or Standard Edition?

Looking back at Tekken 7's Ultimate Edition, it includes all content for the game, whereas the Tekken 8 Ultimate Edition only adds Avatar Costumes for the Arcade Quest Mode and some Avatar Skins for Kazuya, Jin and Jun.

What's the move here? Will Tekken 8 do an Ultimate Edition again that includes all DLCs?

I'd just go for Deluxe if you want the season pass1 and golden suits.
Ultimate if you wanna give the devs a little extra for a few bits and bobs.

Standard is totally fine and you won't be missing out on anything immediate like characters and stages and game modes (this will come out later and haven't been announced yet). You get everything apart from golden suits and season pass and some avatar items.

Like Jon said, it will probably be years before the "complete" version comes out, as they keep adding stuff as they go, depending on how successful the game is.

There is no official info about the chars of season pass 1.
It's up to you if you like the gold suits and like gambling about the chars.

I don't care for the suits and also don't like gambling so i just bought the standard edition.

I’d get the standard. Since the season pass won’t come out until later next year. Then buy the season pass for the four DLC characters.
