That was fixed in the driver but not by default you have to turn it on in the software.
That being said the controller is designed to be played with the analog stick that has a 8 way gate on it that is why it is called the octa.
No way in hell I'm playing with an analogue stick.
Its just a toggle called balanced input mode. The analog stick is what this device was designed around though and it actually is really nice with a short actuation time. The dpad is the same mushy garbage they put on all their stuff. You can mod the Dpad to have a thicker pad near the pcb i think it was 2 microns of added depth that makes it feel better if you are not scared of taking things apart. I used PLA plastic.
I may try the mod to see if it improves things.
edit: just tried the analog again to give it a chance and it's super slow, can't korean backdash and electrics are harder than the dpad, I would never use it normally.
As for the xbox controllers (I've tried the 360 and one) their dpads are not great and the layout is not that confortable for using the dpad as well.
I'd recommend something with a playstation or snes layout instead or even just the keyboard.
you are a scrub. if we all would use xbox controllers you would lose matches left and right.
Also Tekken is a series originally for arcades and playstation, don't know why you would be so fixated on the xbox controller of all things.
unless it's someone so small minded that thinks using a different controller is cheating.
