They're not replacing brand new characters with brand new move sets because that would require too much effort
this argument is complete BS
it takes effort?! lol
a new game should be produced with some effort, especially if it has a high price
i don't like how he's constantly turning into the Devil form depending on his attacks during a match.... it doesn't look like tekken to see a character constantly transform..... they should just keep Kazuya's Devil form as a separate character from his human form so that his human form fights like a human not like some shape shifting mortal kombat character... that's how i feel about all this devil crap
its not BS
it takes more effort to create a 100% brand new character from scratch than it does to create a character that's mostly recycled from another
What's hard to understand here?
Also developing a characters takes time, design, move set, animation, balance, frame data, art work, voice acting, story implementation, enemy AI code, combos, bug testing
you think it's an overnight thing to develop a brand new character? lol
C'mon. Get real. How can people accept such stuff is beyond me.
You want stupid Devil Jin? Fine, then. The same Panda/Kuma train of thought applies: Make him an in-game unlockable character and you select him by highlighting the regular Jin and pressing another button, as if it was another "costume". Done.
Worse than that is Mokujin. Hopefully they're not in the final game.
