based. i have 28mins on the demo before the crack. if that pathetic demo was all i had, i would never buy this game. 6 characters would have been at least worthwhile with practice mode. i don't wanna hear nonsense about "advantages" or "basically a full game". £70 is too much for a fighter that's only worthwhile mode is online.

But still. Both things can be true at the same time. The demo can be ♥♥♥♥. And we wont get demos in the future. The dwmo system saved me. I was high on streetfighter but the world tour demos sucked. So it saved me from buying it

world tour was boring. played it till the demo stopped me. hoping it would get better it DID NOT!


1 thing that really grinded my gears was lack of voice acting! only doing partial voice acting in world tour a 70 dollar game!

No I don't know the reason, please elaborate, are you talking about the demo mod? I mean it's all over reddit, youtube etc.

Look these companies know what happens when you release games on PC and you don't do the due diligence or removing stuff that could be modded into the game, they left the data of 16 characters in the files... what could possible go wrong, just lol

I honestly think they don't care because basically only a small percentage of people mod games, to them, it's not worth the time and effort to strip the assets down. The CNT and CBT were both moded, at this point Namco have given up caring.

btw console versions get moded too, who remembers what happened with SF X Tekken on console, I remember people playing the 'dlc' characters online in that before they were even released. They even left playstation exclusive characters megaman and pacman on the xbox disc files, lol

it is no mod. it is a crack. and i have been banned for LESS on forums! everybody knows about the "crack" anyways next time i will just shut up then. not worth risking a ban while going into detail

on a positive not i did miss demos, as i am from the stone age when there was freeware and shareware. the good ol days of demos. and finally demos are making a comeback. i would hate for it to go away

You're not advocating it, you're not promoting it, you're not posting links to files or videos, you've done nothing wrong. It's not a crime to talk about it.

I called it a MOD because i assumed that what it is, I'm no expert on this sort of thing

Stuff like this impacts professional play and is a talking point and yes, Namco should ban pro players dumb enough to post evidence of themselves using it

mod is for example playing as mandalorian in dead or alive 5.
a crack/piracy is not owning the dlc of Season 1 or Geese! and FINDING A WAY TO PLAY AS GEESE! or not owning tekken 7 at all!
as this is a crack because the studio did not give the license to play as the characters they made

Bamco caused this on themselves. They knew it could happen, yet they left all of the data in here anyways, with 0 protection whatsoever. I don't like to say it, but if anything, it's on them that it happened.

I assumed crack was a term used for piracy etc. Side note, piracy is bad, don't do it. Always buy games and support the industry.

And to reiterate, it is a talking point because it impacts the pro scene, SF6 had the same issues. I would hate to see PC players being denied beta/demos just because of a few bad people with no respect for competitive integrity

if you look into HOW to apply the mod/crack whatever you want to call it. it is the same as most steam cracks! SO IT IS A CRACK! it bypasses steam DRM wont go into it any further. LOOK into it YOURSELF! saw a youtube video.
