No Eddy/Christie? Maybe DLC?

Are you one of these that don't want the iconic characters back to the game? They has been there since Tekken 3 and in later releases they had even more clones than Kuma/Pandas which was exactly the same character, (Tiger,Eddy,Christie)... They used to be the most popular for a while and now they are literally gone? Nothing? Without capoeira Tekken is no Tekken. They always belonged to the franchise and they had such unique movement. They were too much noob friendly? Then just nerf them if it's necessary and bring them back, but honestly they used to be the one of the weakest character when you meet anyone that has been playing for atleast +10 hours of online play and he managed to recognize that he can duck and grab a character. These characters were the... umm... "the noob killerz" but these characters was struggling in higher ranks which made them extremely fun to play especially when you could do anything as them on higher leagues. The mind of the opponents was like "oh no another Eddy button masher n00b" meanwhile he actually knew how to play a game... What a surprise. Bring back capos!

I'm pretty sure it will come in dlc unless Tekken flops, but the reason is obvious - pretty much no one plays them.

They should put Christie in, and they should give her a default outfit so skimpy that it would put T8 in a genuine risk of getting an M rating.

DLC easily

SP2 for sure.
Announcing her in the summer of 2025 fighting Coffee gal on a pool stage, or water fountain area is a dunce cap moment if they don't take it.

Offline Casuals play them plenty.

What do you guys mean by "nobody played Eddy/Christe and if somebody did play then it was just offline match"?

I played them. I actually played Eddy only in Tekken 7 and online ranked match only.

Here is the old screenshot that I found with rank and stats:

I used to be Mighty Ruler as Eddy but I haven't played for a while and they made a patch that was lowering everybody rank and I couldn't get back to Mighty Ruler but on the screenshot you can see Seiryu rank on Eddy which is just still 2 ranks below Mighty Ruler.

Eddy was a bit unpopular comparing to other characters but he was definitely playable and there were alot of Eddy players. Just not that many as Kazuya's but eventually you could meet Eddy on the ranked much often than bears characters for example.

Bamco should first officially publish extensive statistics on character usage (online; offline; regional brakedown; yearly, quarterly, and monthly basis; rank brakedowns; win rates; ...) before arguing with character usage....

Maybe, but the fact is that I play a LOT of people and a LOT of people play anything by Eddy. Is it more clear now?

I could bring more objective statistics where Paul is most popular and Eddy is really not, but I believe you yourself seen it long ago.
